We are delighted to announce that two of the Drone Engineering Services' team will be speaking at the International Concrete Repair Institute on October 11, 2017 in North Haven, CT.  The Connecticut chapter is featuring Sue and David Hilger to help educate their members on the advancements being made in both Thermal/IR and UAV technology. The title is:

“Drones and Infrared Thermography for Inspections”

David and Sue will cover these topics:

1. Infrared thermography (IRT):

Using IRT, defects in reinforced concrete are identified, revealing what the human eye cannot see - and a technological leap from current acoustic methods. We will focus on the aspects related to reinforced concrete structures and bridge inspection process, including the advantages, limitation, and potential sources of errors of using IRT.

2. Drones in the construction industry:

Equipped with specialized cameras, drones collect data used in project estimating, earthworks (cut & fill), surveying/Digital Elevation Models, inspections, and more. Get an understanding of how drones are revolutionizing the real estate development industry.
